A summary of the 3rd Int’l OMNeT++ Workshop is available. See slides here. In a few lines I'd like to tell you about the 3rd OMNeT++ Workshop
that took place last week at the Technical University of Budapest.
The following papers were presented:
* Balázs Rózsás: IP Mobility Simulation in OMNeT++

Three presentations (1,2 and 4) were followed by a demo.
We learnt that the IP Mobility suite (1) is also used in
undergraduate teaching, and that the Mobility Framework (2)
is planned to see a new public release this spring.
The Random Numbers presentation (3) also builds on research done
by Bertrand Hechenleitner and Karl Entacher, details on their page
http://www3.fh-sbg.ac.at/~bhechenl/research.htm
The IP Mobility framework (1) has its home page (with source code download)
at
http://www.mcl.hu/~brozsas/.
You can find the above URLs and more at
http://whale.hit.bme.hu/omnetpp/links.htm
(available via the "Who uses OMNeT++" menu item on the web site).
Here I'd like to thank the presenters, and also the organizers
(Ambrus Wagner, Mark Erdei, Katalin Soja) for their great work.
THE VENUE FOR NEXT YEAR'S WORKSHOP IS NOT YET DECIDED -- IF YOUR
INSTITUTION WOULD VOLUNTEER TO HOST IT, PLEASE LET US KNOW!
Best regards,
Andras
